DIDDY SAYS “I DIDN’T PUT HANDS ON DRAKE”…THEN BACKTRACKS, TALKS HIS FIGHTS AND THE LOVE CONTRACT

Diddy is so entertaining to me. Whether I love it or hate it, I’m always watching to see what he’s going to do next. And that, I’m sure, is his goal. He called himself, an entertainer, the ringmaster. And during his recent interview with “The Breakfast Club,” he brought all of that energy to their morning show. He talked about everything from being less of an asshole, the love contract– speaking about new-age marriage, and the various altercations over the years.

See what he had to say.

Being less selfish

Charlemagne: You said you went from me to we, does that mean that at some point, you felt like you were selfish.

Puff Daddy: Yeah, definitely. I think we all have a bit of selfishness in us. But for me, I wanted to address mine. I want to evolve as a person and become a better man and deal with different things I need to change about myself. So when I make decisions now, I have to make the decisions about “we.” And I’m not saying I’m perfect but what I do, I do it to open up doors. I don’t just do it to get bigger or shine. I like to do things to revolutionize the game.

Charlemagne: What did Diddy have to change about himself? Anger management?

Puff Daddy: One of the things is just, you know, being more of a human being in a personal way. Just working all the time, you could just become a machine. So I had to really learn to slow down and see what was going on around me and appreciate it. I’m a work in progress as far as with that. Definitely had and still  have some asshole issues that I have to make sure that I get over. And listening to the way I speak to somebody, listening before I say it and the effect that it can have on them, even though I just want the best for them.

It just gets to a time when, sometimes everything can be overwhelming and that’s when you got to take a step back. You got to make sure you effect people in a positive way.
